Rachel Brisson is an artist living in Lake Echo, Nova Scotia. She was born in Windsor Ontario and has lived across Canada including Edmonton and Canmore Alberta. Her work is heavily inspired by the natural world around her. She works with traditional mediums such as watercolours and gouache, as well as digital illustration. She has worked with local Nova Scotian companies on label designs, including Garrison Brewing Company and Solas Kombucha. She has recently self published her first book: Botanical Odyssey: A Journey Through The Healing Process of Colouring and Journaling. She has also collaborated with Purolator to create a holiday parcel box for the 2021 holiday season. She is also currently the Store Manager at Trainyard Store, where she finds a meaningful connection with the community through volunteer work and selling other artists goods from all across the country.
